FILI CONTRACT FITNESS INSTRUCTOR - FALL Auditions
We are always looking for enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and self-aware people with a passion for fitness and modern mindfulness to join our FILI team. FILI is all about getting FUNKY and enjoying the present moment in our bodies.
FILI offers four unique classes inspired by Pilates and HIIT. These classes range from our signature CORE class to STRENGTH boot camp style classes. As always, we love a high-vibe workout fuelled by good, loud music. FILI teachers strive to offer effective workouts while simultaneously cultivating community engagement.
For this round of Fall 2024 auditions we are looking for teachers interested in teaching our FILI CORE class. Ideal candidates will have experience with Pilates-inspired sequencing, teaching to the beat of the music and choreographed class planning.
REQUIREMENTS
- Availability to teach a minimum of 2 classes per week
- Flexible and variable hours that include weekends and holidays
- Availability to attend instructor training sessions, team meetings and workshops
- Current fitness certifications in one or more of the following: Personal training (ACE, NASM, CanFit Pro), Group Fitness, Yoga, Pilates, Barre, or a degree in a movement-related subject is required
- Currently holds or has the ability to obtain personal fitness professional insurance (general liability with a minimum limit of $1,000,000 - we recommend HUB Insurance)
- Has the ability to maintain up to date First Aid certifications
- Experience teaching in a high-vibe group fitness environment is considered an asset but is not necessary.
- Class pay rates will start at $50/class with opportunities to grow and benefit from an instructor bonus structure. In the spirit of transparency, our current class rate ranges between $50-65/class and is based on instructor experience and overall performance.
