GENERAL
What is FILI?
FILI is a unique 3-in-1 concept coming to Squamish soon hosting a lively fitness studio, coffee and smoothie bar, a retail space. FILI is set to land in the Spring of 2024 in the Squamish community.
To experience the FILI class magic, FILI has partnered with Studio Collab (a local co-working space) to host small group movement classes. Classes range from Yoga, Pilates-inspired movement to body weight HIIT.
Who can take classes at FILI?
FILI prides itself in being an inclusive and accessible space for all. Our classes are designed with various levels in mind with several modifications and options offered.
If you suffer from chronic pain or are returning to movement from an injury or concussion we recommend you consult with your physician before beginning a new exercise program.
Are there different levels to FILI classes?
Yes in some ways and no insome others - FILI classes are designed with all levels in mind with some classes higher intensities than others. The aim to create an accessible and inclusive space in all of our classes and offer modifications and options.
Some examples include lower intensities in yoga + Pilates inspired classes and higher intensities in body weight HIIT classes or cardio classes.

FIRST TIMERS
Do I need to create an account?
Yes! All clients must create an account to purchase class passes, manage memberships and sign up for classes. To create an account please visit the new guest sign up page.
What should I bring to class?
Wear comfortable clothes you can easily move in and be prepared to sweat. Remember your water bottle and any sweat towels you’d like to bring, but please leave your mat at home (we have some for you!).
If you suffer from chronic pain or are returning to movement from an injury or concussion we recommend you consult with your physician before beginning a new exercise program.
When should I arrive for class?
To ensure safety and an easy set up please arrive to check in at least 10-15 minutes before your class. For safety reasons and to prevent any disruptions we do not allow late entry to classes.
With waitlisting in effect, please note your spot may be given to a standby student as any unclaimed spots four minutes before class will be released to waitlisted students.

CLASS CREDITS
How do I buy class credits?
Class credits can be purchased on our website through our Arketa booking platform. Please note all class credit sales are non-transferrable, final sale and cannot be exchanged. Please take extra care to note your passes expiry date at checkout as expiry periods differ between different options. The intention of expiry periods is to encourage use of passes so you can enjoy your time at FILI.
Do you offer refunds on class packages?
Unfortunately at this time we are unable to offer refunds on class packages.
If you cancel your class within our cancellation policy, the class will be credited back to your account for future use.
Please note our class cancellation window is in 6 hours for classes between 9am-7pm and 12 hours for 6am, 7am and 8am classes.
What is your class cancellation policy?
To ensure spots are filled in a timely matter and to allow our waitlisted guests into class we have the following cancellation policy in place.
For classes between 9am-7pm - 6 hour cancellation window. Windows refer to hours before class for example, class is at 6pm, please ensure to cancel by noon to avoid any cancellation charges.
For early morning classes 6am-8am - 12 hour cancellation window.
Classes cancelled within these windows will have class credits credited back to your account. Memberships will occur a $10 late cancel fee.
MEMBERSHIPS
Do you offer a monthly unlimited membership?
Soon! Our unlimited monthly membership is a great option for those looking to get the most of their FILI experience. Monthly memberships auto-renew every 30 days and are charged to the credit card on your account. Please note your card information is only used to charge reoccurring memberships, all other charges are done manually. Monthly members are subject to late cancel charges for no-shows and late cancels. More details can be found in our Cancellations FAQs.
Unlimited memberships come with unique perks and member events such as 15% off all coffee and smoothie orders, first access to event sign ups and much more.
Do you offer limited class memberships?
Yes!
Our Weekly Warrior limited class membership is perfect for the busy human or the human who is visiting or passing through Squamish weekly. The Weekly Warrior membership renews on the first of every month and credits five classes every cycle. These classes are intended to be used once a week over a course of a month and will not roll over into the next month. This membership is perfect for the short term visitor to Squamish, the apres Whistler skier or the busy city commuter human.
How do you purchase a membership?
You can purchase your membership through our Arketa platform via our pricing page. From there you can input your personal sensitive information into our secure platform. At this time our staff members are happy to assist with any membership questions but they cannot handle any client specific sensitive payment information. All payment information must be entered by the client themselves.
How do I cancel my membership?
All memberships have a minimum two month commitment which then after you can cancel at any time.
If you wish to cancel your membership after the initial two billing cycles, please cancel via your Arketa account. If you need assistance canceling your membership please email us at least 7 days before the expiration of the current cycle and we will cancel the auto-renew. At this time we do not allow any membership pauses and encourage you to take advantage of our membership's flexible month-to-month commitments (after the 2 month minimum).
LATE ARRIVALS + CANCELLATIONS
Late arrival policy
To ensure safety and an easy set up please arrive to check in at least 10-15 minutes before your class. For safety reasons and to prevent any disruptions we do not allow late entry to classes.
If you wish to cancel your class please cancel 6 hours before your class' time.
Classes that are not cancelled within the following window will forfeit a class in a class package or incur a $10 cancellation fee for any memberships.
What is your cancellation policy?
To avoid losing any class credits or incurring any late cancel charges, reserved classes please cancel at least 6 hours before your class time via your Arketa account.
Please take note of your class time and the appropriate cancellation window.
We do not accept email or social media message cancellations, please cancel your reservation through your account.

WAITLIST
What is a waitlist and how does it work?
If a class you’d like to take is full we highly recommend joining the class’ waitlist. In order to do so you must have a valid membership or class pack package. If you do not get a spot in the class. the credit will be added back to your account.
With both memberships and class pack packages, if a spot opens up one hour before you will be automatically added to the class and will receive an email notification.
If you are still waitlisted within an hour before the start of class and you no longer wish to sit on the waitlist you are welcome to remove yourself from the waitlist just like cancelling a class. Within this window class pack packages will have their credit returned to their account.
Please note our waitlist ‘locks’ one hour before each class time start - any potential open spots not yet filled are then open at a first come, first serve basis.
Dow do I check if I am on the waitlist or remove myself from the waitlist?
To check your waitlist status please log into your account and view your scheduled classes. If you are on the waitlist you will be able to see your waitlist position.
If you change your mind and no longer want your waitlisted class, be sure to remove yourself from the waitlist.
STUDIO POLICIES
Studio Ettiquette Policies
Studio etiquette polices are put in place to ensure you and your fellow guests have an enjoyable time at FILI. We thank you in advance for respecting our studio guidelines.
- Be present. Please give yourself ample time to arrive and exit the studio. We treat our studio like your sanctuary and want to give you the best and safest experience possible. To mitigate distractions for yourself and others please arrive early and plan to stay for the length of your class.
- No text and chat. Please leave all communication devices outside the room, if you are on-call or your child is sick please kindly leave your phone with our staff and we will come and get you if there is an emergency
- Skip the cross talk. Our studio is your sanctuary, please use our coffee and bistro area as your social area – and grab a yummy drink or treat while you are there!
- Kindness is funky. Respect the people around you and treat our staff how you would like to be treated.
- The pack. There is a direct correlation between your energy and your neighbour’s movement. Please consider this while moving in the studio.
- Stay for the exhale. Life happens but please refrain from early class departures to help mitigate distractions and to remain present. We have several class times to help accommodate different schedules so please choose one that will allow you to stay for the full duration of the class.

Lost and found?
Please leave any valuables at home and advise you to use our lockers available on site. Due to the nature of our space, FILI is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. There will be an onsite lost and found area where items are held for two week periods. After that items will be donated to Pearl’s a local donation center.
Are children allowed at FILI?
Please note we do not have childcare on site. To respect the experience for others at FILI and for liability reasons we do not allow children in our studio area or left unattended in our future bistro area.
If you show up with your mini or with inadequate supervision we will ask you to return another time and re-credit your class. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Minimum class age?
Due to the nature of our classes attendees must be 16 years of age or older to attend. Younger attendees will require a physical waiver signed by a parent or guardian at the time of their first class. Please arrive early in order to complete the waiver.
For other occasions (Mommy and Me classes etc.) the minimum class age may shift due to the nature and intention of those classes/programs.
MEDICAL INQUIRIES
Can I take FILI fitness classes if I am pregnant?
Yes, but please consult with your physician prior to joining us. As a general set of guidelines we suggest the following:
Pre and Post Natal
- Avoid crunching movements - sub for toe taps
- Avoid prone (belly down) laying positions
- Avoid high impact movements - sub for 'feet-on-the-ground' movements to relieve pressure from the pelvic floor
- Monitor your intensity level. Your intensity with shift as you move through your trimesters, please return to comfortable position if you are feeling any lightheadedness during class
Post Natal Specific
- Return to fitness 6 weeks after a vaginal births
- Return to fitness 10 weeks after a C-section birth
Please note that these are general pre and post natal guidelines and we encourage you to communicate with your doctor and listen to your body accordingly. We highly encourage you to continue moving your body throughout your pregnancy journey just at a mindful pace. Due to the nature of our group fitness classes we are happy to offer suggestions but will not be able to accommodate any specific 1-on-1 requests. Can I take FILI fitness classes for injury recovery?
If you are recovery from an injury we do not advise taking classes until you have been cleared by your doctor. Once you are ready, feel free to reach out and we would be happy to provide class recommendations.
Please note that due to the group fitness nature of our classes we are unable to provide consistent 1-on-1 attention. It is also beyond the scope of our instructors to provide medical advice, if you needing any additional resources please refer to your doctor or an allied health professional (physiotherapist etc.). Personal training sessions can be arrange upon request using our contact form.
